Schedule Set-Up
Schedule Set-Up allows you to:
You can access Schedule Set-Up at any time by clicking the “Schedule
Set-Up” button on the Plan screen.
A default days-off calendar and weekly schedule (roughly following a
conventional school year) are provided for each student. You can modify
these to accommodate your teaching schedule. For example, you may prefer
to take Mondays off and teach a half-day on Saturday.
If at any time you need to access these instructions while in the Schedule
Set-Up area, click the “Help” button in the upper-right corner of your
screen.
To close the Schedule Set-Up without saving your changes, click the
“Close” button. If you have unsaved changes it will warn you before closing.

To add a day off for a student:
To change the month you are viewing, click the
forward or back arrows.
Click a date on the calendar and it will automatically
display in the Days Off column. If you select consecutive dates, it will
automatically group them together into a date range.
If you have more than one student and would like
them all to have the same days off, choose “Apply to all students.”
Click “Next” to save your changes and continue
on to the Specify Weekly Schedule screen.
To remove a day off for a student:
Click a selected date on the calendar to de-select
it and automatically remove it from the Days Off column.
To remove all of the specified dates at once,
click the “Clear” button.
To change the dates to the default days off, click
the “Reset to school calendar” button.
If you have more than one student and would like
them all to have the same days off, choose “Apply to all students.”
Click "Next" to save your changes and
continue on to the Specify Weekly Schedule screen.

To change the number of lessons for a course
on a given day:
Click on the box under the weekday for which you
want to change the number of lessons.
Type in the number of lessons you want to teach
that day for the course. If you don't want to teach any lessons on that
day, leave the box blank (delete the number in the box if necessary).
The estimated end date for the course will change depending on how many
days off are specified for the student and how many lessons are taught
each week.
Click the “Accept Schedule” button to save your
changes. This brings up a window that allows you to either go to the student’s
Plan or to set up a schedule for another student.
Projected End Dates
Using your days off and your weekly schedule,
we estimate when you are likely to finish a course. You may move faster
or slower than you've planned, but the estimation should indicate whether
your schedule is practical for your goals.
All of the courses in the Scheduled Courses list display in the Planning
& Progress area. When you have completely finished a course, you may
not want to see it on your Plan each day. You can hide it from this view
by clicking the “Show/Hide Courses in Plan” button on the Specify Weekly
Schedule screen.

To show or hide a course in Planning &
Progress:
Click the “Show/Hide Courses in Plan” button.
This brings up a window where you can indicate which courses to show in
the Plan and which courses to hide.
Check the box next to the courses you want to
display in the Plan. To hide a course, un-check the box.
Clicking the “Start” button can start courses
that are shown as "Not Started."
Click the “Accept” button to save your changes.
Click the “Cancel” button to close the window without saving your changes.
The weekly schedule will now show only the courses
that will display in the Plan.
