Progress
The Progress tool shows your student’s movement
through the curriculum, letting you monitor your student’s advancement
through each course and showing you the dates you can expect to finish
each course. Based upon the projected
end dates you may want to adjust the schedule to help your student master
the material at an appropriate pace (to increase or decrease the number
of lessons per week, return to the day view of the Plan and select “Schedule
Set-up” to update a student’s schedule.
Every lesson is in one of these three states:
Finished:
When you record an assessment, the system will automatically mark the
lesson complete. If the assessment score indicates the lesson has been
mastered, the lesson is considered finished. A lesson that doesn't have
an assessment is considered finished when it is marked as completed.
Started:
This means that a lesson has an assessment and either you marked the lesson
complete but haven't recorded the results, or the results indicate that
the lesson hasn't been mastered.
Not
Started: This list includes all lessons that you have skipped,
as well as any lessons that you have not marked as completed.

Progress Overview
On the first Progress screen:
The first column lists
all the courses in which your student is enrolled.
In the second column,
a bar graph shows the status of the lessons.
The third column lists
the total number of lessons for the course.
The fourth column lists
the date you are expected to finish the course, based on your weekly schedule,
scheduled days off, and the number of completed lessons.
To see detailed information
for a course, click on the course name.
Progress displays all
the courses that you chose to show in Schedule Set-Up. If you chose to
hide a course, it will not appear. To show or hide a course, go to Schedule
Set-Up and follow the directions.
Optional Lessons
Some of the lessons within each course are
optional, meaning you and your student can choose whether to complete
them. You can use these lessons to continue exploring a topic. If you
choose to “view all lessons,” the overview will reflect progress for the
core lessons plus the optional lessons for each course. If you choose
to “view core lessons only,” the overview will show progress for the core
lessons only.
Subcourse Overview
When you click on a
course that has subcourses, you will get an additional overview screen
before going to detailed information about the course.

On
the subcourse screen:
The first column shows
the course name.
The second column lists
the subcourses associated with the course. Clicking on a subcourse will
display detailed information.
